i am going for p1 orientation on monday. seems like my school is quite late hor. anyway, going to test the kids on chinese speakings and simple writing of their names only leh. no 10 pages of worksheets. haha

10 pages of worksheets! I thought that is alot and scared the students off.. My boy’s school assessed the kids too but it was more like a chat session.

No worry. There’s still a very long road, you may see him excel in academic later. Let him get used to the primary school environment first!

Me too, school hoilday is even more busy days for us SAHMs!! arggh…

This P1 thingy is really freaking out lots of kids and parents… one fren of mine said she was disappointed that her son scored an average of 87% from his P1 exam….

I was like… poor boy. 87% is not enough to please his mom.

my daughter also took assessment test and was asked to return back for remedial for 3 weeks. it’s already the 3rd week and glad that it’s going to end soon, bcuz it really takes up alot of my time

heard many schools did such assessment but glad mine didn’t. its so stressful this way!
