I think we are so mixed up as a society about whose rights are more important…we’re losing focus on our roles. I kept waiting for someone to tell me who was right or wrong in this episode, for someone to take CONTROL. Constant and loving parenting…apparently the mom has not sent out there positive parenting messages. Whew…I knew there was a reason why I don’t watch Dr. Phil. So much negativity.

What the boy did was shocking (on the slapping part) but I see that both parties are at fault here…the mom instead of explaining/telling chooses to use the same method the son did to show him how she feel..so the son is just learning from her…doing what she usually did “shut Up!” or maybe slapping back on to show her how he felt…

OH WOW!If one of my kids dared to do something like that I ‘d completely freak out!!!I do not tolerate that type of behavior.Respect your mom and dad, that’s something I truly believe.
