He Better Be Mad
Child October 27th, 2009I read this extremely short article over here. Its so short, I might as well extract it over here, so you need not click over.
SINGAPORE: A forensic pathologist told the High Court on Monday he found more than 20 scars on the body of toddler Natalie Nikie Alisyia Sallehan, who died on January 6 this year after her father allegedly kicked and stamped on her.
On the sixth day of the man’s murder trial on Monday, Dr Teo Eng Swee said he also found another 58 instances of external injuries all over the 23—month—old girl’s body.
These injuries ranged from abrasions to her neck to a bruise on her face that was “likely” caused by a punch to her face, he said.
The father, 27—year—old Sallehan Allaudin, has been accused of killing the oldest of his three daughters at the family’s rental flat in Boon Lay.
The trial continues on Wednesday. If found guilty, Sallehan faces the death penalty.
He had better find prove to show that he is of unsound mind, or else, well-deserved punishment had better be served!
*** For my non-Singaporean readers: over here in Singapore, Murder = Death Penalty.

I just don’t understand how anyone could do this to a child–his own child.

I always felt sad when I read about these kind of news. Kids are just so innocent to endure such torture.

Breaks my heart to read about this. It’s difficult to comprehend how anyone can treat their own child this way…
