All About Your Child

This is a ‘normal pair of shoes’.

This is what my Keatkeat did to them.

Doing it for his little brother, Binbin. The ‘spirit’ of Brotherhood. *smile*

It’s been more than a month. The 2 of them have refused to do it the ‘right’ way back. Whenever I bring Keatkeat to school, those uncles and aunties would say things like:

“Aiyo, he doesn’t know how to wear the shoe properly ah?.”

“Aiyo, as a mother, you should correct him.”

“This is the wrong way of wearing the shoes.”

My reaction? – SMILE.

Yup! That’s all I do. Well, he is not obstructing, offending or hurting anyone. Most importantly, his shoes don’t fall off when he runs, so does it really matter?

I guess it matters alot to these uncles and aunties, ‘cos their grandchild is following the style too! *Laugh*

Now that its a ‘decent’ car, they are belted up on their car seats. So ‘bye bye’ to all the illegal and dangerous stuff I did when we had the van.

My kids are secured now and they love it! They are happy little bugs now because they need not squat down to hide if a police car is near. FEAR NO MORE of the white vehicle with the P-O-L-I-C-E spelt on it.

Now when one passes by, they just continue to enjoy watching cars zooming by, as they compete in shouting out the car brands they see throughout the journey.

“Mommy, we are not scared of police car now….because we got our seat belts buckled!”

Oh what misery did I put you little guys through….*sigh*

Now we are looking out for the ‘Lightning McQueen’ belt cushion to replace the Winnie The Pooh, which belonged to my BIL, remember, this Toyota Vios used to be his?

My boys are crazy over this icon after watching the VCD more than 400 times! No-joke! Just look at their shirts, you know. They would request to wear it every time they are washed and dried, even before they got a chance to be folded back into the cabinet.

People in my neighborhood might already have the wrong idea that we are so poor, we can’t afford to buy new or more clothes for them to wear. LOL!

Anyone (Singaporeans) have seen the Lightning McQueen belt cushion sold anywhere?
