No Hell’s Day!

Child

Keatkeat was worried that he would get a Hell Monday yesterday, see blog post “I am going to get hell“.

Instead he got lots of good luck!

Due to the zoo trip with the school today, his teachers told him to hand in ALL homework on Wednesday. Yippee!

He came back really happy, but it was not because of the above reason alone. Rather he was excited as his Devil Lie teacher told all the children that they were allowed to bring cameras for the zoo trip!

“Mummy, can I bring a camera, please?” Keatkeat pleaded yesterday.

It was a definitely “YES!”

Spending Valentine’s Day with animals? How unusual! *laugh*

So today, it marked the first day of him carrying a camera phone to school. A truly satisfying experience for him.

Though he took lots of photos, sadly, none were good enough to be posted, its funny that most of the photos were PART of an item, PART of a person’s face or PART of a place.

As if that was not bad enough, ALL, yes, I really mean ALL the photos were blurred! *faint*

Oh well, he did have a great time, even though none of the photos illustrated how enjoyable the trip was. *laugh*

To add to the list of good luck, his teacher said that his ‘Show and Tell’ will be conducted only on the following Monday, while the rest will be carried out this week. Aaaawww…. isn’t she nice? She gave him so much time to prepare.

So Valentine’s Day 2012 was indeed a wonderful day for Keatkeat! *clap clap clap*

Scooters Sold!

MoneyTalk for Kids

Thank you my long time blogger friend, Flower Mummy, for purchasing the scooters from my boys.

Since it was Sunday (in-laws gathering day) and her house is near to my in-laws’ place, Allan suggested that we deliver the scooters to her children.

The feeling is indescribable when I finally get to meet her children in person.

Kids whom I have only seen pictures of on my monitor screen and whom I could only read their laughters and tears on their blog.

After 3 years, we finally met. I finally get to hear their chirpy voices and their endless giggles and laughters with my own ears. The feeling is both amusing and satisfying.

It was funny when Keatkeat refused to stand beside the girls for any photos. Ohhhh…. a clear sign that a change is taking place in that little 8 year old boy’s brain… soon, it will be time to talk about manhood! *laugh*

The kids had no problem mixing with each other and my boys were more excited to see the pets in the house than to collect their $5. *laugh*

Their $5 earnings! Thank you for searching for the $5 note.

Her girls are so lively and one of them even grabbed my hand to show me around the house, none of the rooms were missed out, not even the toilets! *laugh*

Other than receiving great hospitality, they made my life so easy when I saw how enthusiastic they were in taking photos! I was still wondering if I had to coax them into having pictures taken by a stranger, i.e. ME!

Not at all!

Whenever I say, “Come, let’s take a photo over here.” In less than 2 seconds, they would have their pose ready and would say “CHEESE!” super loudly! *Huge Laugh* Adorable to the MAX!!!

Though I did not get to meet my blogger friend, her active kids made me realised how capable this Mummy is. Kudos!

Thank you once again, Flower Mummy! *hugs*
