Yesterday’s Opening Ceremony of the Olympic Games 2008 in Beijing was truly spectacular. I’m a big fan of Fireworks and the sparkles in the night sky was truly amazing!
My favorite Olympic Game Item is the Gymnastics, what’s yours?
With the Olympic Games starting date so close to Singapore’s National Day (which is today), I hope Singapore will do REALLY well this time, with lots of Gold, a little Silver and hopefully no Bronze. With such results, it would be the best Birthday Present for Singapore Ever! Good Luck Singapore!!!

Agree that the Opening Ceremony was spectacular! We were watching at home and I was going “Wow!” Very impressed by their performances. Was thinking after watching that yesterday, today’s NDP may seem not so ‘impressive’ already. Haha! :)

I have to say I’m a little torn over the Olympics. I DO love that there are so many nations together from around the world. I just wish we could join together for something a little more spectacular like health or development. Somehow though, that just doesn’t offer the same fireworks (or advertising dollars!)
