Kids’ Talk – 18

kids talk

On Monday, Allan instructed Binbin to ask his teacher for the total number of children in his class, so that we could prepare his Birthday Goodies Bag for him to distribute on Tuesday.

After school….

Allan: “Binbin, so do you know how many children are there in your class?”

Binbin: (Spoke with confidence) “18. Including me.”

Allan: “So how many boys and how many girls are there?”

Binbin: (Spoke with EXTREME certainty) “19 boys and 19 girls.”

Kids’ Talk – Snow Wash

kids talk

Binbin: “Can we go ‘Snow Wash’?” (that’s how the petrol stations call it)

Me: “Its raining. The sky is helping us to wash the car.”

Keatkeat: “But that is dirty water. Rain comes from sea water right? The sun sucks up the sea water. Then make clouds. Then when clouds become too heavy, it rain. So rain is dirty water.” (he remembered seeing rubbish floating on the sea.)

Me: “Keatkeat, when the sun sucks up the sea water, it is sucking up the water, not the dirty things too.”

Keatkeat: “So its like Divide! (there goes his mathematics language again) The cloud separate the dirty things from the water. So rain is not dirty. So good, don’t need to pay money and can wash the car.”

***Oh well, I did not want to go into the Chemical part of it though.
