Special Moments, Videos

Dramatic Sports Day 2011
Keatkeat is my drama-sports-man today.

So dramatic till I cannot find a word to describe his race. *laugh*
I guess, its better to let the video do the talking…

This was how the telematch started off…
His first team mate raced off (2nd from the right)…

Mummy: “How do you feel after the race?”
Keatkeat: “I am a little mad with myself, because I fell down and my team mates scolded me.”

Mummy: “What did they say?”
Keatkeat: “Zac Loh, why didn’t you run faster?”

Mummy: “Did they scold you for dropping the ball?”
Keatkeat: “No, they didn’t scold me, they scolded the one who threw the ball to me and not passing the ball properly.”

Mummy: “So you are a little mad with yourself , anything else?”
Keatkeat: “I am sad too because I waited for one year to get a gold medal. Last year, I got a silver medal and I told myself that I must get a gold medal in Primary 2. But now I didn’t get 1st, I feel very sad. Luckily the medal is still gold colour, so weird because when I get 3rd, the medal is still gold.”

Mummy: *laugh* “So your dream came true! You wanted a gold medal and you’ve GOT your GOLD MEDAL!” *laugh*
Keatkeat: *small laugh* “Yeah Yeah yeah yeah…”

Mummy: “Keatkeat, you finished the race, you did not give up. You fell down and you picked yourself up and continued… that’s the most important thing…”
and I gave him an enormous bear hug!

New Playground at IMM

Places Kids Love

Did you know that there is a new playground at IMM?
We are all too familiar with the ‘old’ playground at the outdoor area at level 3, whereby the door is nearer to Daiso.

Whereas, this new 7-metre tall tree house playground is right at the other end, where the Koi fish pond is. You would need to exit from the glass door nearest to the Long Beach Seafood restaurant at level 3.

Looking at the tall tunnel slide here reminded Binbin of his horrible skin-slicing encounter at Kidz Amaze, see post “Kidz Amaze – Would I Recommend?

So he was reluctant to slide down at first.

After a minute or so of assuring him that the material of the slide and the way the slide is structured is different from the one at Kidz Amaze, he was willing to give a go.

And he went again…

and again…

and again… *laugh*

The most satisfying part is to see your child conquering his fear resulted from his past experience.

Good job Binbin! *thumbs up*
