My 7 year old boy went for a green trip today. A trip to Jacob Ballas Garden near Bukit Timah Road. A trip organised by the school. It was written that a cap, raincoat, water bottle, snack and clipboard must be brought. However, as my son has outgrown his raincoat and we were informed of the trip only one day before, we did not get any raincoat for him but gave him an umbrella. To my surprise, umbrellas were not allowed at all and because of that, my boy was wet when it poured! Maybe I should have gave him a Fedora Hat instead, at least it can shelter more parts of his tiny sick body. Now he is coughing badly again.
