In my 7 years in retail business, the only time I had no problem issuing receipts for my mechandise was during the Bubble Tea Franchise Business. Thereafter, I moved on to pushcart sales and bazaars. That is when receipts were in written format. As the space in the pushcarts and bazaars are so small, it is difficult to make space for a machine like a POS. If only tm-t88iv was created back then. *sigh*
