Baby-SitterS
Child, Parenting, Places Kids Love March 19th, 2009When you need a break, don’t reach out for a Kitkat, go get a Baby-Sitter Children-Sitter, be it Alive or Dead!
Today, I’m fortunate to have “THE ALIVE”:
My sis and her boyfriend brought the kids out for a couple of hours. The main aim was to allow the soon-to-be-4-year-old Binbin, choose his own birthday present. Those hours were precious and I’m so glad I accomplished lots of stuff, in and out of the house. Yippee!
Yesterday, I engaged “THE DEAD”:
The maximum commitment THE DEAD could give was ONE HOUR. Anyhow, better than nothing.
I haven’t been to IKEA for some time (till yesterday) and was pleasantly surprised by the changes made to the interior. Their ballroom has been converted to this:
And this is the story behind the new concept:
and the place urge you to JUMP in to pick the berries…
and so my boys did JUMP INto the pool of berries at the far end (framed them in blue)
chasing after BERRIES which tried to RUN AWAY from their CLUTCHES
then showing off their CATCH to their amused parents outside the glass panel
AN HOUR later, we found them sitting on the stairs watching their favorite Tom and Jerry through the projector screen (I framed it in the white box)
Reluctant to go, frowning a little as they picked up their slippers from their storage box and threw in their number-bibs…
Completely different from how they looked when they were waiting to enter this magical place An Hour ago (see below) *laugh*
Need a break? Go get a children-sitter, dead or alive… *laugh*

Janice,
We are NOT inside.
I just press my camera close to the glass panel… *laugh*
Nope! I didn’t apply the cards for both my boys.
Didn’t see the need to.

This kind of “dead” bbsitter is vy much better than the idiot box. The kids sure had loads of fun.
