   haha…agree. my son is not afraid of the cane. in fact, the more we cane, the more rebellious he become. recently, he makes me so angry that I leave the bedroom after only telling him that i will not put him to bed today because i am angry. thereafter leave the bedroom quietly and close the door after me. he was so upset that he cried!

   OOOOf! That one works. I remember it from when I was a child. You know what I’m learning with my own children. They often punish themselves and I don’t have to do anything but offer correction. Funny how that is happening.
