All About Your Child

My boys had their very first swimming test this morning at 11.30am ~ SwimSafer Test.

It had been raining heavily for almost two hours before their test and we were hoping that it would stop when the test began. But it did not. It merely ‘reduced its intensity‘ that’s all. *sigh*

Throughout the test, Keatkeat and Binbin kept complaining, “Mummy, I’m so cold…Very Cold…” *heartpain*

Anyway, the entire SwimSafer test ended well. Though Binbin made that mistake, the examiner assured us that they have passed the Swim Safer test. Yeah! *clap clap clap*

It ended on an even higher note when my children’s coach (the other man in blue at the background of the second video) gave them a Christmas present each! *Grin*

SwimSafer Test

Today my children’s very first beds came!!!

We ordered their bed frames, mattresses, study tables and chairs from Malaysia. This is our first time ordering furniture from Malaysia too. It was such a pleasant experience. Love the service and definitely adore the price.

In Singapore, for the exact same bed frame with a 6 inch spring mattress, it cost S$450 each set. So to buy two sets, we would need to spend S$900.

Now from Malaysia, with two of the same bed frames with 8 inch spring mattresses AND 2 study tables AND 3 study table chairs, we paid only S$929, which is inclusive of GST, delivery charges and whatever tax there is!

We spent almost the same amount of money but we bought more! Money well spent! What’s more, we received two pillows as free gifts!

The boys were so excited about their beds, they already had problem sleeping on the night before. *laugh*

The big truck arrived at around 2.45pm, after their phone call at 1.26pm.

What surprised me was seeing an old lady about 50+ years old, delivering our furniture! She was small size, but super strong indeed! *jaws dropped*

She came with her younger sister and another young chap.

In about 30mins, all was done.

The beds were assembled on the spot, as well as my own new study table chair (not captured in the photos here).

Making their bed, their very own… with their soft toys… *smile*

Well, for their first night, it was good. They did not roll out of their beds nor fall flat on their faces. *laugh* Hope it will last…but we still do the necessary precautions by placing the old mattresses beside their new beds. *smile*
