Children’s Day has been Changed

Child

Yup! Children’s Day has been changed to the first Friday of October. It is no longer 1st October anymore for children in Singapore. Personally, I think its a GREAT move! Long weekend! Yeah! *Grin*

Yesterday, Keatkeat asked me: “Mummy, I will finish all my worksheets from school today but can we not have any worksheets from you tomorrow? Its Children’s Day tomorrow. I want to have fun, fun, fun!”

Me: *Nodded*

Keatkeat exclaimed: “YEAH!!!” *jumping a little*

This morning, Binbin said: “Mummy, its Children’s Day today so no worksheets, right? Its play, Play, PLAY, right?”

Me: “Yes, Children’s Day is play, Play, PLAY!”

Binbin shouted: “YEAH!!!”

Just in case you are wondering why did they ask that, I mentioned in an earlier post “Does Your Child Fear Exam?”, I give them revision worksheets EVERYDAY, except Sundays, because of our weekly routine visit to spend a day with their grandparents every Sundays.

When your children do revision everyday, they can afford a day of FUN and PLAY, even during exam period! *Grin*

Happy Children‘s Day!

Kids Fingers are So Flexible!

Child

I was looking through some old photos and I found this:

This was taken on 8th January 2010. He was 6 years old then.

Keatkeat could make perfect circles with his INDEX and MIDDLE fingers. I believe your child could do the same too, right? Kids fingers are so flexible!
