Happy Mother’s Day!

Happy Mother’s Day to All Mommies out there!!!

These are the 2 Mother’s Day gifts I’ve got from Keatkeat so far. The one on the left is this year’s present. But I prefer the one he gave when he was in Nursery, the flower on the right….looks like there’s more involvement in the artwork.

Going over to my MIL’s place now, (its the usual Sunday practice anyway) to celebrate Mother’s Day with the other 3 mothers…(MIL and 2 sis-in-laws).

Short post but my heart goes out to all wonderful mommies, have a great day….ohhh…drop that vacuum cleaner please and go enjoy yourself, won’t you, just for today, at least! Try to smile EVEN IF that little figure is almost driving you to tears with his/her tantrums…

HAPPY MOTHER’S DAY!!!

Easter Bunny

Child, Handicraft for kids, Parenting, Preschool

Love to do handicraft with kids. The sense of satisfaction lingers on their faces as they hold up their masterpiece and show it to everyone in the family. Its also a great way to boost their self-confidence. This Easter Bunny is an easy one. My 2-year-old could do this too, errr…that is with a little help from me towards the ending part.

Get a square handkerchief or towel.

Fold into a triangular shape.

Fold the corner up as shown.

Bring the bottom up Half-way.

Fold up the bottom again to form a long strip.

Turn over.

Bring up one end of the sides as shown.

Do the same for the other end. Make sure that both meets in the center.

Fold it up by bringing the sides together.

Use a rubber band to tie the sides together.

Tie a ribbon to cover up the ‘ugly’ rubber band.

Draw 2 eyes on a piece of paper, cut them out and stick them on the Easter Bunny. There you have it. Easy?
