Happy 12th Anniversary Papa & Mummy!

Special Moments

BackDated Post : 19th May 2012

Yes, its our 12th Wedding Anniversary, it is an event about the two of us, but I do NOT believe in leaving the kids to a child care giver and go for a couple night.

Becoming parents was part of the reason why we decided to take our marriage vows 12 years ago. Kids are our fruits of love. They should be present to celebrate together with us. Without their presence, there is no meaning in celebrating this day. Their voices and their laughter at the celebration dinner proves that our decision made more than a decade ago was a correct one.

I did a post on how Allan and I continue to stay in-love with each other these 12 years and NOT stay together because it has become a responsibility or routine or worse (some say) ‘got-used-to-it’. Check out my writeup here : “Happy 12th Anniversary, Dearie (And What Kept Us Going Strong)

I have always wanted to try the restaurant ‘Secret Recipe’. A number of people around me have tried and gave a thumbs up for it. However, due to my stinginess thrifty personality, I find it pricey and kept holding back, until we found Secret Recipe in Malaysia! Whoo-hoo!!!

There was no holding back anymore! *laugh*

Happy Birthday Papa!

Special Moments

BackDated Post : 21st May 2012

As usual, we had our cake cutting at 12 midnight. A tradition so special, I do not think we are ever going to change.

Banana Chocolate Cake! Double Yum!!!

Alright, everyone who knows us or Allan long enough would know that the ONLY restaurant that makes him want to go back again and again is none other than Tony Romas. *laugh*

So it is no surprise that we are there on his birthday too!

But it was a HUGE surprise to see his ex-lover in the same restaurant, sitting on another table, next to ours, celebrating another friend’s birthday at the same time!

And Allan knows everyone else on that table too because they were ex-school mates. *wink*

So after so many years of sms-ing (texting on the phone) Allan “Happy Birthday”, this year, she managed to say those two words in person. *smile*

And together with that greeting, a few slices of self-baked cheesecake (Allan’s favourite cake too), was sent over to our table.

It was Allan’s day indeed! *wink*

Happy Birthday Papa!
