Not Chatty Today
Child, Health, Parenting April 27th, 2009For those who like short posts, this is probably THE ONE. Ever since the post on 9th April, Keatkeat’s Bronchitis is still enjoying its vacation with my 5 year old.*Sigh* really tired from the dashing to the small dustbin, ‘fly’ back to him and in the end, he still ‘choose’ to vomit OUT OF THE BIN! So I’ve got extra cleaning and washing to do. At night, he coughs throughout, so much so that Allan and I can hardly sink deep into our slumber land. We must always be prepared to dash for the dustbin or be TRULY up and awake to change his bedsheets and whatever shit…..*Today he is too sick for school again.*
Ok, done. That’s it for today. Weather, Oh weather, can you be less extreme?

I can fully understand the extra washing and cleaning up to be done. very tired !!
when the kids are resting/napping, please, you go and rest too!
this is a war declared by his buddy and you need alot of energy to fight with it !

The weather is extreme here as well! One day it’s summer weather the next day it feels like winter.

Same here. my boy has been coughing for soooo long. Though not as serious as bronchitis, but he would vomit too when he coughed, and that really kept us busy. And I could totally understand the rush to bring him to toilet before he vomited out all over the place!

ohhh so sad to read that he is not fully recovered from his bronchitis…ummm, the washing/cleaning can be VERY tiring and we can sometimes get frustrated/annoyed easily with interuppted sleeps in betweens (been there done that!)
pls do take care and do hv enough sleep when the kids are resting!

Janice,

Skipped lunch to sleep.

So sorry to hear your boy is unwell. I know it’s very hard and also heartbreaking when our darlings are sick.
Hope he gets well soon, and you take care of yourself too.

It’s so hard when your child is sick–and doesn’t get over it quickly. I hope he feels better soon and that you can all get more rest.

keatkeat seems to really very weak..like Nicholas. Slight changes in weather and he will be down with flu/cough.
Have you tried Chinese medicine? It may help though not sure if leatleat can accept the bitterness. Hope Keatkeat recovers soon.

Blessed mom,
oh boy he sure is weak man!
I think its a trade-off, cos’ Binbin has super immunity system.
Want him to be sick is like asking a 80 year old man to climb mount everest!
Possible but difficult. *laugh*
The video of the piggy banks are up on my latest post, did you see it?
