This week has been a Mad Week!

Monday: Friends came over for a small chat session in the evening.

Tuesday: Friends came to my house for Chinese New Year dinner and Lo-Hei.

Wednesday: Keatkeat started his weekly 1.5hours Chinese Story Writing class, which starts at 1.30pm. The school made it COMPULSORY.

For the first time, he stayed back in school for lunch and he LOVED IT!

His appetite was so good, he was left with only $0.20 from the $2.80 I gave him that day for recess and lunch. Keatkeat: “I wanted to eat more, but I did not have enough money….” So I intend to raise the allowance to $3.00 for every Wednesday.

What made me even happier was that he used the time after lunch to do his homework, instead of playing with his friends. *Super Thumbs Up*

Went to fetch him at 3pm and back to school to fetch Binbin at 6pm. After Binbin came out from school, we had another weekly appointment to rush to.

So for Wednesday…

  • 7am bring Keatkeat to school
  • Come Home
  • 12pm bring Binbin to school
  • Run Errands
  • 3pm fetch Keatkeat from school
  • Come Home
  • 6pm fetch Binbin from school
  • Rush off to another appointment.

*panting*

Thursday: As the kids did not have homework, we went hunting for stuff right after school till its bed time. *faint*

Friday: Keatkeat started his first swimming lesson conducted by the school at 3.45pm

I have to admit that I was pretty worried about him going for this swimming lesson. Though he has passed his SwimSafer Test, I still feel uneasy leaving him to a coach, who has many students to look after. You never know what will or can happen in the waters….all it take is just a split second…. *heart beating faster*

I have no worries about him bathing himself and keeping his things well, because he is already capable of doing that every Saturday when he go for his private swimming lessons.

So instructions after instructions were given repeatedly, so much so that Keatkeat said, “Mummy! Stop! You don’t need to tell me, I TELL YOU!……” and he rattled on what I had instructed him to do without missing any points. “Don’t worry, I am a big boy already, I will take good care of myself.” he assured me.

Well, he came back in one piece, what more can I say?! *clap clap clap* Yeah!

“Mummy, it was so funny! Most of them kept asking, “Where’s my pants? Where’s my pants?!” *laugh* They could not find their pants after they had bathed and did not know which one is theirs, ‘cos most of them wore back their school PE attire. They did not bring their home clothes.”

“I love the swimming lesson, it is different from Coach V.’s swimming lesson. I learn new things, but the coach kept pinching my backside.”

Me: “Huh?! Why?”

Keatkeat: “I kept playing with S.Y.. Most of us get pinched on the backside….”

Me *laugh*: “So do you still want to play so much during the swimming lessons and get pinched on the backside?”

Keatkeat: “No.”

That night, he was so exhausted, he fell asleep fast and talked in his sleep!

Saturday: Went for our last round of Chinese New Year visiting. Every year, my CNY visiting will end at my auntie’s house. The auntie who took care of me since birth before I was brought back to my own family at the age of 5. The family that I feel closest to. A total of 4 Lo-Hei for this year’s CNY! Cool!

Sunday: Our weekly ‘spend-the-day-with-the-in-laws’.

So little time for kids’ homework.
So little time for housework.
So little time for what used to be routine-chores…..

Ok, CNY is finally coming to an end. Its time to gear up and clear up the ‘long-overdues’ and to do what truly needs to be done.

And did you realise?
ITS ALREADY FEBRUARY!!!
What happened to January?!
Did it not come?
Time passes so quickly when you are happy! *wink*

How has your week been?
Mine has definitely been a Mad Rush Week!

Its A Mad Rush Week!
