In Spite Of…
Parenting November 24th, 2008In Spite of being completely dumb-founded after accidentally ‘approved’ the entry of a computer virus YESTERDAY, I still had to be a smiling Mommy.
In Spite of being completely helpless to the undying pop-ups of warnings minutes after minutes, I still have to be a Mommy capable of making my kids enjoy every minute of their school holidays.
In Spite of NOT being able to do what I love (blogging and blog hopping) and feeling agitated all over, I still had to control my temper and NOT vent them on my lovable boys.
In Spite of the ‘Red Days’ symptoms almost tearing me apart, I still need to make sure that everything is in-place for the kids.
In Spite of all of the above, I still have to be the Mommy my boys love to play with, the Mommy who makes them happy just by jumping around to the ‘Imagination Movers’ songs with them…
In Spite of being a completely soul-less Mommy yesterday, my subconsciousness still managed to slap me hard with a fabulous idea, “Get out of the house. Go see the Christmas Lightings at Orchard Road”
In Spite of forgetting to bring along the camera (which is so not-me), we had a great 2hours of being encompassed by dazzling Christmas decorations. (I swore I will bring my camera the next time I’m there which is probably in a few days time!)
Sometimes I’m really surprise by my own patience. In times when I SHOULD FLARE up, I don’t. Yet there are times I could have controlled myself and I can’t. How weird?!
In Spite of our (my Sis and I) disagreements in the past, she is still the ONLY angel who come to my rescue just before the awful day ended.
Friends in Facebook knows how grateful I am to my sis…. but I just wanna say again, “Thank you Sis! Without doing what you did, I won’t be able to type this post at all today.”

I have 3 sisters and although we have not always gotten along with each other, it’s great how sisters will always be there for each other when we need them. :o)

Dear Angeline,
Have been reading your previous posts to catch up. You have been having some bad days, some days when you can’t take it and some days when you have managed to overcome.
I reckon patience is one thing somehow it has multiplied incredibly since we are mums. But being mums also have affected us being wifes.
Hope you manage to juggle both roles well. Talk and talk again with hubby (read your post on feeding your kids!).
And sigh, family will be family, we scold, we yell but they are the ones that will always be there for us no matter what.
Take good care my dear!

Like what everyone said, no matter what happens, your family will be there for you. I believe if I needed help, you will also do whatever you can to help me. Just like I’m your virus terminator and you are my blackheads terminator. Haha.

I find sometimes the times I purposely leave behind the camera, well, these are the best times.
Oh Christmas lights. Putting ours up in the snow this weekend. Boy, your kids would love to have a play here with my two. You should see them fly down the hills on their sleds!
