This is a topic that’s most likely gonna get me behind bars in Singapore. We are not allowed to talk about this because it just go against Singapore’s ‘mulit-cultural and mulit-national’ image.

So I’m NOT going to say ‘bad’ stuff…

In fact I want to promote what my country has been proving to the world that IT IS POSSIBLE and has been so proud of :  that is RACIAL HARMONY…

I received this special poem from my neighbor and I just wanna share it with all of you…

This poem was nominated by United Nations as the best poem of 2006, Written by an African Kid

When I born, I black

When I grow up, I black

When I go in Sun, I black

When I scared, I black

When I sick, I black

And when I die, I still black

And you white fellow

When you born, you pink

When you grow up, you white

When you go in sun, you red

When you cold, you blue

When you scared, you yellow

When you sick, you green

And when you die, you gray

And you calling me colored?

We are living in the INTERDEPENDENT world today, you never know who you need help from and you’ll be surprised that sometimes the person you hate most, ended up as your saviour.

Such values we need and must teach our kids from young, shouldn’t we? Though we have our own likes and dislikes, we have our own preferences, we still need to impart them the value of individual equality irregardless of race, language or religion from an unbiased point of view, isn’t that right? *Hmmmm….*
