Library
Places Kids Love November 9th, 2009 Its been a long break from their favourite Monday routine. I decided to get the ball rolling again today. Visiting one of my favourite ‘baby sitter’ > The Library.
There is a story-telling session on every Monday in the Library near our place. One of the reason my boys are excited about this routine, “Mommy, its Monday! Yippee!!! We can go library again tonight?!” could also be due to the opportunity to get mini-gifts from the story-teller at the end of it.
After that is done, its my boys’ usual practise to grab at least 4 books each to bring home and return on the following Monday for another round of stories, gifts and books again….
My rule: 3 English : 1 Chinese. And that Chinese book had better come with hanyu pinyin or else its going back to the shelf, because Mommy dearest cannot read very well without the help of hanyu pinyin. *pout*
Is library your weekly hangout too?

It’s been awhile since our last visit to the library back in Aug this year. Good thing we have quite a numbers of books at home that can keep Dylan busy. Ha, he can stick with one book and keep reading it for as many time as he can. I got sick of reading the same story to him but he enjoys it as though its his 1st time =S heehee

Never bring the kids to the library but had the plan to do so. Over here, I don’t think they have story telling and gift giving.

that’s used to be our routine too when we were in the East. Now over here, got no idea where the nearest library is?!
and mommy dearest, u better place equal emphasis on both subject or they will have problem when they enter Pri sch.
