Can your kid say it right, after you have said the above sentence to him/her the first time?

My boys heard Milly, from the New MacDonald’s Farm, said that sentence over and over again. But they just couldn’t get it right! Which was extremely unusual.

They can watch a cartoon for the very first time and by the end of it know which character say what (in the exact sentence) and how it was said (the tone). They could even figure out names of the characters which Allan and I couldn’t even spell.

So this was a mouth-drop-to-the-ground for us.

Me: “A Job Done Well is A Job Well Done.”

Kids (Both): “A Job Well Done is A Job Well Done!.” in super fast speed.

Me: “Boys, listen carefully, A JOB DONE WELL is a job well done.”

Kids (Slowly): “A job well done is a job well done.”

*Uuurggghhh*

Me: “A Job”

Kids: “A job”

Me: “DONE WELL”

Kids: “done well”

Me: “is a job well done.”

Kids: “is a job well done.”

Me: “Good! Now put it together. A Job Done Well…”

Kids: “A Job Done Well…”

Me: “is a job well done”

Kids: “is a job well done”

Me: “A job done well is a job well done.”

Kids: “A job well done is a job well done.”

*Faint*

We went all over again more than my fingers and toes could count and they still can’t get it right! Not that this is any big issue, not that by saying it right the sky would be raining solid cash, just that its NOT THEM! And that puzzled Allan and I for more than 24hours now…hmmmm…

can you kids say it right? hey lets be fair, they must be around 3-4years old ok? no cheating please….
