Special Moments May 8th, 2009
Can I blog about happy things when I’m still as hot as a fiery dragon? ‘cos two more parcels were damaged by the same Sing Post branch – YISHUN! Now a total of 3 by the same guys, yet the customer service is still giving me crap response!!! *Aarrrgghhhh*
So can I? Can I really blog about happy things? Will my words be nice and sweet and NOT be too hot to scald your eyes?
I think I can. Because its about the 2 closest adults I have on planet earth.
It will be Allan’s birthday in 2 weeks time, but my sis will not be in town. She will be “Wwoooshhhed” to my dreamland…. *Aaawwww….envy envy* (Ok, ok, *slap slap* wake up!)
Hey hey, and by chance, the table number we were seated on was Allan’s age. Nope, not his age in 2 weeks time, but his age as of now.
Allan loved the Pepper Crab we had at Jumbo Seafood Restaurant from our first visit there on March 2. But this time, we went to the branch at Demsey Hill. So my sis used her monthly $150 allowance from her company to give Allan (and us) a treat there AGAIN!
But this time, we wanted to eat ONE PEPPER CRAB EACH.
So we did not order the Chilli Crab (in fear of what might happen to me again), we left out squid too and we reduced the quantity of the prawns; hoping our bill (this time) would NOT exceed our ‘damage’ there previously.
In the end, 3 Yummy Pepper Crabs + 300gm of fresh boiled prawns + their famous crispy fish (finally we get to take the photo of it ‘flying’), we paid $10+ more than what we did on March 2. *faint*
But it was all worthed it. The SERVICE was still as good and impressive as before.
This time I am especially grateful towards their thoughtfulness.
They were ‘entertaining‘ my boys while we were munching our pepper crab and licking our fingers.
The staff were playing ‘GIVE ME A HIGH FIVE‘ with my boys from the other side of the window.
To make them even happier, my boys had souvenirs too:- Jumbo Seafood Apron. They LOVED IT!
By the time we reach home, the apron has become cape, and they were zooming around like superboys…. *laugh*
Allan, aren’t you blessed to have such a great sister-in-law? *wink*

Good to hear about good service from Jumbo Seafood! Might patronise it if we are in the mood (and be able to eat peacefully without having to tend to our son :P) for chilli crabs! ^^

For both occasion, we went to the branch at Dempsey.
So the service I’m referring to is the staff at Dempsey ok?
Other branches’ service, I’m not too sure.

wah wah wah..what a sis-in -law Allan has? u’r sis is such an amazing soul :) ll of u are gifted in a way..she by having u guys as her immediate family and u guys having such a sis-inlaw,sis n an aunt in her … BUt must give credit to her boyfriend too… he chips in always rt for birthdays ..n taking kids out.. *clap clap clap*

It’s always a Blessing to have good extended families relationship. That’s why people say, you don’t just marry your wife/husband. You marry the whole family..and members have its priviledges…haha.
Our family are also supporter of Jumbo Seafood and we will be there at least once a month, if my memory is right, cos my In-laws have the Jumbo Card..hee.
Food is usually good and service generally good.
Last but not least, Happy 34th Birthday birthday to your hubby.
