If you remember my list written on the very first of this train of blog posts on our 3 days 2 nights self-driven adventure to Desaru, you would know that Crocodile World in Desaru will be the last ‘station‘ before we check out the following day.

This was probably THE place which Allan enjoyed the most throughout the trip. In fact, after this trip, he hopes to visit a crocodile farm which would allow him to feed the crocodiles himself.

Just like my boys, the big man was very engaged in every big or small movement made by the crocodiles in this Crocodile World.

Some people call it Crocodile Farm, but the entrance said its called Crocodile World. Regardless of how you call it, so long as you follow the sign that says ‘Taman Buaya’, you are going to land yourself at the right place. *wink*

To me, self-driving without any maps to Crocodile World in Desaru has proven to be the trickiest compared to the others because some of its signages were on the left side of the road, and others on the right. All it takes is one second of distraction or lack of concentration, and we would have missed the sign and obviously missed the turn.

Unlike the other places we went, which were just a turn off the main road, Crocodile World can only be seen after turning off the main road and driving through some simple residential areas, some school, some restaurants and along the beautiful sea.

Look at how much you can save when you choose to self-drive to Crocodile World in Desaru!

Just pay RM8 for each adult and RM4 for each child, instead of paying RM70 per hour (adult) and RM40 per hour (child) when you use the transport provided by the resort which we stayed in! *jaws dropped*

Thus in my opinion, self-driving to Desaru is a better choice. You save more money and you can take your own sweet time to enjoy every moment.

Before we took the trip down to Desaru, I searched through Google and saw tourists holding small baby crocodiles at the Crocodile World and I was looking forward to have that experience too.

However, I was disappointed when I saw the baby crocodiles in the blue pail near the ticket counter have grown so much. They were the length of my arm! Too dangerous to hold them up for a photo shoot already. Awwww…. what a waste! *pout*

Though I did not fulfill my wish, to me, this place is a definite MUST-GO attraction, if you are going Desaru!

The crocodiles here are SO HUGE!!! Some of them were so fat and were longer than twice the height of Allan!

Seriously, we were REALLY NEAR to the crocodiles!
But in order to capture good shots of them, I think there were a few moments whereby I leaned over too much. Thank goodness none of the crocodiles below me jump up and snap off my elbows. *phew*

In this place that house over hundreds of crocodiles, we found ONE SPECIAL CROC. It was born tail-less according to the uncle who guide us around. Since it was born without its weapon, it had to be kept in a separate section, all by himself, away from the rest. Aawww… so lonely. *pout*

Most of us know that crocodiles can stay still for a very long time and it would be boring to roam around seeing ‘logs‘ right? So we bought chickens to get them excited so as to see them in action.

Oh my! They are truly intimidating the moment they start to move!
So much so that other than Binbin, all of us got wet from the splashes made by the crocodiles. Here’s Keatkeat wiping off the water from his glasses:

Before we head back to our resort, Allan had a chat with the staff working there (His usual habit. I love how he can strike a conversation with anyone, anytime!), while the kids grab a drink and pretended to ‘roar‘ like crocodiles! *laugh*
