Yeah! Its weekday and its a school holiday! Thanks to whoever that thought of creating this day to celebrate the brilliance of having youth among us.

I love short school holidays like this or even the one week break during March and September, but when it comes to the 1+ month long school holidays in June and December, my head increases in size; always on my toes, thinking where should we do or go? So as to keep the kids entertained.

It was a day of feasting, movie, artwork and pure fun!

Feasting:

Had our lunch at Sushi King. With their amazing RM2 per plate on the Kaiten Belt, there was no stopping till our tummies were full to the max! Read details here on my personal blog “July Offer : Sushi King RM2 for each plate of sushi on the belt.

Movie:

We wanted to watch The Amazing Spiderman 2012, but will not be in the JB cinema till 5th of July. So *clap clap clap* we get to watch Madagascar 3, which we missed when we went for our Batam trip last month. The reason was recorded in this blog post “2nd Batam Trip during the school holidays: Day 2 of 3

There is this new shop at Aeon Bukit Indah, JB which allows kids to enter into the play area full of big bouncy castles for RM8 for unlimited play. Alternatively, your child can opt to do sand art or window art at a corner of this big shop.

Pure Fun

We also went to the big Arcade inside Jusco, which is very similar to the one we went in Tebrau City. See pictures here “Will Your Child Love Jusco Too?

It was definitely a fulfilling Youth Day!
How did you spend Youth Day with your child?
