We are Happy

Child, Parenting, Places Kids Love

…because Keatkeat’s Chicken Pox Battle is over. (his tears)

…because Binbin’s immunity system is so strong, Chicken Pox virus couldn’t get inside him. (why so strong)

…because I’m no longer a locked-at-home-mom. (details)

…because Allan and I are teasing and joking with each other again. (our biggest fight)

So where did we go?

Marina Barrage!!!! (I’m so predictable, aren’t I) *laugh*

While Allan and I were chatting away, we spotted a photographer taking photos of my Binbin. I was contemplating if I should approach him for some modeling-fees. My Binbin was posing for him, aren’t that right? Hmmm…. but I didn’t.

Would you feel good if you see a person taking photos of your kid?

Would you approach the person and ask him why he did not seek for your permission first?

Would you have asked him for some modeling-fees?

Carlsberg Make a Wish… Koi Garden… Toys R Us

Child, Parenting, Places Kids Love

Ok, I promise, this WILL BE the last post for the places we visited on 18th December 2008. I didn’t expect myself to go to this extend of writing 3 blog posts just for that 6-7hours of fun-time we had.

Anyway, so you knew we went to Singapore Flyer first, followed by ‘drinking’ the Merlion’s ‘vomit‘ *laugh*.

in-seaRemember how I left you from yesterday’s post? The white balls floating on the Marina Bay?

This year, Carlsberg Beer is doing something extra ordinary for 2009 countdown party at Marina Bay.

Everyone is welcome to pen their wishes on the balls. The balls will accumulate over the days till the countdown on 31st December 2008. You can write anything and if you are there on the last day of 2008, you will see your wishes soar above the electrifying action during the Marina Bay Singapore Countdown!

boothThe ‘writing’ counter is situated at level 1 of Suntec City. My boy’s smile was so awkward… cos’ I ‘forced‘ them to take a photo first before they start their grafitti.

lots-of-ballsLook at the number of ‘completed balls at the background of this picture… The wishers just kept coming… and bear in mind, it was a weekday! I would say most of the people we saw busy with the markers were tourists…

KeatKeat decided to draw his experience earlier that day, (left to right) the Singapore Flyer, the tall hotels and offices he saw, the fishes he fed at the Foyer of the Flyer and the dollar sign representing the $1 I paid for the fish food.

Whereas for my 3 year old, Binbin, he just drew himself! Without hands!!!*laugh*

koi-signThe feeding of the Koi Fishes at the Singapore Flyer were not thrilling enough.

Since we were at Suntec City, we went to one of Binbin’s favourite hangouts : Koi Garden

Bought the usual fish food at $2/pack and fed away….

Now that the Koi fishes have filled their tummies, it was our turn to fill ours! See the Koi Garden Sign at the background? Yup! (Singaporeans) You guess it, we had dinner at Tony Romas!!! *Wow* We haven’t had that in years!

After the Millionaire Mind Intensive course, which Allan attended in November, he can better manage his money. So there was this special amount he set aside every time to give us a BIG treat! *huge smile*

The service personnel was so cool. She provided my boys with colouring cum activity papers PLUS 8 crayons to keep their minds occupied before the food was served. Great Service!

Did you think that Tony Romas was the last place we went? NO….it was Toys R Us! So I made a mistake, we went to 6 places!!!! NOT 5!!!!!

We did our usual see-touch-go routine at the mega toy store on level 3 of Suntec City. But this ‘simple’ routine took us 1hour!!! Seriously, I think they should have benches in the store so that the parents can SIT! *pout*

So now you know why I was aching so much (if you had read that post on my personal blog), cos’ I was wearing my 2half inch high heels!!!! *FAINT*
